Timeline

This vault uses a fictional year system built on the official Warcraft timeline convention: years are numbered relative to the opening of the Dark Portal, and many entries are treated as spans rather than exact days. The result is a practical chronology for lore notes, not a claim of perfect canon precision.

How It Works

• BDP means years before the Dark Portal.
• ADP means years after the Dark Portal.
• Year notes like [[Chronology/27 ADP]] serve as the anchor points for characters and events.
• Year Index is the sortable numeric form used inside the year notes.

Usage

Link a year in Born, Died, Undead Since, Returned To Life, or an event year field using the matching year note.

Use the year notes themselves for anything that belongs on the timeline; this page is just the system overview.
