Overview
Garrick Farson is a Gilnean soldier whose worgen curse became the foundation of an unusually focused martial discipline. Before Gilneas fell, he served as a pikeman. Afterward, he sought not merely control of the curse, but the ability to use the body it gave him with the discipline of a trained soldier.
The Worgen Form
Garrick trained with the Druids of the Claw and with surviving practitioners or inheritors of the Druids of the Pack and Scythe tradition. The latter matters especially to him because the worgen form descends from the forbidden Pack Form and the disaster surrounding the Scythe of Elune. He studies that history without treating the curse as a gift or its feral origin as anything benign.
A Soldier’s Discipline
His fighting is built around clawed close combat, pouncing, predatory movement, grappling, mauling, jaws, body weight, speed, and heightened senses. Garrick does not pursue the broad range of forms or magic of a conventional druid. His work is the mastery of the one form he already possesses, integrating its altered balance, reach, and instincts with the battlefield discipline he first learned as a pikeman.
