During the Suramar uprising and the Legion’s defeat, Valyssa preserves enough of her public standing to avoid exposure or removal from Nightborne society. She emerges from the crisis with a viable political identity and a place in the Horde, while concealing the allegiance that would destroy both.
A Patient Loyalist
Valyssa does not treat the Legion’s defeat as final. She lies low and waits for another opportunity to serve what she still calls her masters, convinced that loyalty through their apparent defeat will one day earn greater power, status, and favor. Whether that confidence comes from fanaticism, denial, incomplete knowledge, or some combination remains unknown.
