Overview
Sargeras (/sɑːɹˈɡɛɹəs/sahr-GEHR-əs) is a titan and the creator of the Burning Legion. He was once the champion of the Pantheon of Order, chosen to defend the worlds the titans had ordered across the Great Dark Beyond. However, while he once served as a guardian and protector, he later set out with the purpose of destroying all worldsouls in the universe. At the head of an infinite demonic army, he began the Burning Crusade to prevent the void lords from corrupting the worldsouls, which would lead to the birth of a dark titan, a being of unspeakable evil that would utterly annihilate and consume the universe.
