Canon Overview
The Knights of the Silver Hand are the paladin order founded by Archbishop Alonsus Faol as the martial arm of the Church of the Holy Light. The order was shattered by the Third War and later re-formed in different ways, including through Tirion Fordring’s efforts and the class order formed during the Legion invasion.
Known Connections
- Cairden - breaks from the Scarlet Crusade during Classic, becomes a foundational recruit of Tirion’s restored Hand, helps rebuild it on Azeroth during the Outland campaign, and later becomes Highlord.
- Mourgrim - rejected from the order while Cairden was accepted.
- Caldyris - served in the reformed Silver Hand under Highlord Cairden during the Third Invasion of the Burning Legion.
