Wördern
Overview
Wördern is a small market town in Stirland, with approximately 425 inhabitants. It stands at the crossroads of the Old Dwarf Road and the Moot Road.
The Sigmarite Congregation
Father Johren Mueller, a priest of the Order of the Torch, ministers to the town’s modest Sigmarite congregation. His work encompasses worship, religious instruction, and the pastoral care of its people.
Wördern is the hometown of Elias Redyn. After the loss of his parents in early adolescence, Elias lives under Johren’s protection, helps with the chapel’s work, and receives religious and intellectual instruction. The priest becomes his spiritual father and mentor.
Notes
The settlement description comes from WFRP Second Edition: Sigmar’s Heirs, p. 86. The chapel, congregation, and Johren’s ministry are approved original developments rather than institutions explicitly documented by the gazetteer.
Elias’s parents’ deaths and the Mueller brothers’ birthplace remain unresolved. Kelham remains a possible Mueller-family hometown, not an established one. No precise distance, travel time, or parish boundary is inferred.
