Overview
Alleria Windrunner (/əˈlɪɹiÉ™/É™-LEER-ee-É™ or /əˈlɛɹ.i.É™/É™-LAIR-ee-É™) is the leader of the void elves, a hero of the Alliance, and the oldest of the Windrunner sisters. Once a ranger-captain of Silvermoon, who led her rangers under the Alliance of Lordaeron against the Old Horde during the Second War, she was also the head scout of the Alliance Expedition during the Invasion of Draenor. Leaving their son Arator behind, Alleria and her lover Turalyon eventually disappeared after the Dark Portal was destroyed since the orcish homeworld was falling apart due to Ner’zhul’s failed ritual and threatened to drag Azeroth into its fall. Unlike the Sons of Lothar who regrouped on the now decrepit Outland, Alleria and Turalyon disappeared after passing through a rift into the Twisting Nether and were not heard from again for decades.
