Illidan Stormrage, called the Betrayer, is the first demon hunter, the twin brother of Malfurion Stormrage, and the longtime lord and master of the Illidari. Born among the night elves, he was a powerful sorcerer before his war against the Burning Legion led him through betrayal, imprisonment, demonic transformation, rulership in Outland, and eventual service as Sargeras’s jailer.
