Overview
Sindweller is a night elf Vengeance Demon Hunter of the Alliance. He belongs to the older, scattered tradition of independent demon hunters who could be encountered on Azeroth before Illidan gathered large numbers of them into the Illidari. He has therefore been active in the world during part of the pre-Legion era rather than imprisoned in the Vault of the Wardens with the main Illidari force after Mardum.

Sindweller’s decision to become a demon hunter, his exact relationship to Illidan, and the details of his centuries of activity remain open. His present martial identity centers on enduring demonic force and turning it back against the enemy.
The name Sindweller is a demon-hunter epithet adopted in place of the brothers’ original family surname. Sindweller and his younger brother, Feronas Sindweller, both use it as part of their demon-hunter identities. Their original names, the circumstances in which the epithet was adopted, and which brother adopted it first remain unknown.
