Overview
The Darkwell is the corrupted state of the Sunwell after the disaster at Voidspire. Its creation is bound to the canon actions of Xal’atath, Alleria, and L’ura. The elven counteroffensive ultimately resolves the crisis and leads to the birth of the Dawnwell.
The fall of Praedys and his diversion at Voidspire worsen the assault’s failure, but they do not displace the causes of the Darkwell’s creation.
