Overview
The Voidspire is the towering enemy stronghold created by Xal’atath from the power within the Dark Heart and the techniques taught to her by the domanaar. The assault upon it is a decisive Midnight operation, but it fails to prevent the canon sequence involving Xal’atath, Alleria, L’ura, and the corruption of the Sunwell into the Darkwell.
Praedys worsens the failure by drawing Aestian and Caldyris away from the main assault. Lynara follows them. Their absence removes several capable combatants at a critical time, though Praedys is a contributing factor rather than the cause of the Darkwell catastrophe.
