Junker Gnome
Overview
Junker gnomes are heavily augmented living gnomes of the Mechagon population represented by the Rustbolt Resistance and its allies. They consider themselves simply gnomes. Their bodies may incorporate extensive mechanical replacement and enhancement, but they are not the fully mechanical Titan-forged beings called mechagnomes.
“Junker gnome” is an informal outside term, especially common among Gnomeregan gnomes. It arose naturally from the scrap heaps, salvaged machinery, and improvised infrastructure of Mechagon and the Rustbolt Resistance. Some members of the population may use it casually, but it is not an ancient or formal ethnic name.
