Overview
Kurakan is a Zandalari Prelate, a paladin of the Horde, and a devoted follower of Rezan. His religious loyalty is directed to Rezan himself rather than merely to the office or power of the loa of kings.
Zandalar
Rezan’s death during the fall of King Rastakhan does not break Kurakan’s faith. He remains convinced that Rezan can and will return. The survival of Rezan’s remaining essence and its connection to Vol’jin give him a current basis for hope, but Kurakan does not transfer his devotion to Vol’jin. Vol’jin may be important to Rezan’s eventual restoration; the loa Kurakan seeks is still Rezan.

Appearance
Kurakan is an imposing, broad-shouldered Zandalari troll with blue-gray skin, pale blue eyes, a dark-blue crest, and prominent tusks. He wears heavy ceremonial armor of pale bone-colored plates, gold fittings, and deep blue feathers, with a great spiked bone pauldron on one shoulder. His portrait shows him carrying an enormous bone-bladed weapon surrounded by golden holy light.
