Overview
Khadgar was one of the foremost archmages of the Kirin Tor and a former ruler of the Magocracy of Dalaran. He was an apprentice to Medivh, helped Anduin Lothar defeat his possessed master during the First War, destroyed the Dark Portal in the Second War, led the Alliance Expedition to Draenor, and later stood against the Burning Legion and other threats to Azeroth.
In this continuity, Khadgar died during the destruction of Dalaran in The War Within. His death left Rhox to assume the leading political and narrative position among the surviving Kirin Tor, though Rhox’s judgment and methods differ sharply from Khadgar’s.
