Overview
Sylvanas Windrunner, formerly styled the Dark Lady and the Banshee Queen, is the former Warchief of the Horde and former ruler of the Forsaken. In life she was ranger-general of Silvermoon; after Arthas Menethil killed her during the Scourge invasion of Quel’Thalas, he tore her soul into undeath as a banshee. She later regained a corporeal undead elven body while retaining banshee powers, making Darkfallen the better undead type for her current state. She is especially important to Saerina’s past service, defection, and later reckoning with the Forsaken and the Shadowlands.
