Tess Greymane is the princess of Gilneas, daughter of Genn Greymane and Mia Greymane, and heir to a kingdom whose people were transformed by exile, war, and the worgen curse.
Role in the Lore
During Tess Greymane’s Worgen Trial, Tess seeks counsel on whether she must take the worgen curse to represent Gilneas faithfully. She approaches Jarcey because of his Gilnean standing and long experience with controlled and feral worgen. Jarcey persuades Redyn to reveal his concealed condition privately to Tess and the necessary members of the royal household, allowing Tess to hear both from an uncursed Gilnean veteran and from a man who accepted the curse under battlefield necessity.
