Overview
The Clessington Crisis centered on Cecil Clessington, son and heir of Count Clessington, and the violent exposure of his father’s corrupted legacy. Cecil was found at the estate, attacked by his father’s servants, and later rejected the legacy he had inherited.
Redyn and Jarcey served as the Alliance champions drawn into the crisis alongside Vanessa VanCleef and Mathias Shaw. Vanessa and the champions remained the primary figures in reshaping the Defias legacy afterward, with Cecil later assisting Vanessa in Westfall rather than replacing the champions’ role.
By this point, hostile Defias could reasonably call Redyn and Jarcey champions of Stormwind: Redyn had an extensive record with SI:7, Jarcey had repeatedly served alongside him, and both had defended Stormwind and its people across multiple campaigns.
