Karak Eight Peaks in the Age of Reckoning
Karak Eight Peaks remains divided among the Dwarf reconquest led by Belegar, Skarsnik’s Greenskins, and Queek’s Skaven. Dwarf possession of a fortress within the complex does not place every chamber and passage under their control.
A substantial Dwarf settlement or garrison may have occupied important upper or surface portions of the hold before the attack by Grumlok and Gazbag. Their capture of the principal Dwarf-held fortress would then represent the destruction of that position while the wider struggle for Eight Peaks continued.

Provisional harmonization
This remains a proposed bridge between WAR’s account of the hold’s fall and the broader incomplete reconquest in WHFB. It does not establish a complete Dwarf reconquest before the attack.
The exact geography, sequence, and nature of the Dwarf position require review against primary campaign sources. Belegar’s wider reconquest and the presence of Skarsnik and Queek remain preserved. This article does not supply a settled outcome for the entire complex.
