Overview
Banksey is a mysterious Dark Iron warlock who deals in dangerous relics, forbidden knowledge, rare reagents, infernal contracts, and singular solutions to otherwise impossible problems. He maintains shops in every major racial capital of both the Alliance and Horde, operating openly enough to be found but discreetly enough to avoid becoming part of any city’s ordinary commercial life.
Each shop appears to be an extension of the same establishment: crowded shelves, sealed reliquaries, bound demons, obscure instruments, and a heavy desk behind which Banksey himself is invariably seated. He always seems to be present in whichever shop a customer chooses to visit, regardless of distance, faction borders, or how recently he was seen elsewhere. He offers no explanation for this.
Adventurers, commanders, scholars, priests, warlocks, and agents of both factions seek him out when conventional resources fail. Banksey often possesses precisely the item or knowledge required, sometimes before the visitor fully understands the problem. His bargains are generally honored exactly, though his prices and motives are rarely as simple as they first appear.

Timeline
Hooks
- Banksey is always physically present in whichever of his shops he is sought, even when witnesses know he was recently seen in another city.
- It is unclear whether there is one Banksey, several Bankseys, projected bodies, temporal displacement, demonic intermediaries, or a network of spaces connected outside ordinary geography.
- The shops may be separate locations, entrances to one shared interior, or manifestations of a single occult domain.
- Horde and Alliance authorities both tolerate his presence despite his dealings with the opposing faction.
- No one knows whether every shop contains the same inventory or whether objects move between them as mysteriously as Banksey does.
- Customers sometimes notice an item in one city that they previously saw in another, down to the same dust, cracks, or bloodstains.
- Banksey refuses to explain whether he travels between shops or whether the question itself is based on a false assumption.
