Canon Overview
Shadowforge City is the capital of the Dark Iron dwarves, located deep within Blackrock Mountain above the Molten Core. Its vastness rivals Ironforge, and it has long served as the center of Dark Iron power, craft, and rule. The city and its surrounding depths contain the Black Forge complex, including the sacred Black Anvil, which remains central to Dark Iron metallurgy and smithing traditions.
Since the Fourth War, Shadowforge City and its people have been affiliated with the Alliance under Queen-Regent Moira Thaurissan.
