Bwonsamdi is the loa of death who claims the souls of many Zandalari and rules the Other Side. He is a major spiritual and political power in Zandalar, balancing personal bargains against the wider fate of his people. After Rezan’s death, he becomes the principal royal patron of Talanji, within the wider loa order that continues to sustain Zandalar’s sacred monarchy.
