Overview

Hukhano is a Zandalari shaman, senior royal officer, and loyal servant of the Zandalari crown. By the Pandaria campaign, he commands an independent royal contingent of soldiers, shamans, ships, and trusted officers. His mandate comes from King Rastakhan, not Zul or Khar’zul, though his exact title remains unsettled.

Pandaria

Hukhano had no moral objection to invading Pandaria, seizing territory, destroying settlements, working with the mogu, or using ruthless imperial methods. He was a proud representative of Zandalar and his king. His objection to the campaign was strategic and political: he concluded that Zul had deceived Rastakhan, misrepresented the expedition, subordinated Zandalari interests to Lei Shen, and spent Zandalari lives to restore a mogu empire that would never regard Zandalar as an equal.

Withdrawal and Report

Hukhano withdrew before the expedition’s final collapse, taking his own men, ships, trusted officers and shamans, records, and evidence back to Dazar’alor. He reported personally to Rastakhan on Zul’s deception, Lei Shen’s intentions, the expedition’s losses, and the campaign’s strategic failure. He remained unapologetic about the invasion itself: his grievance was that Zandalari blood had been wasted on Zul’s plan rather than spent to strengthen Zandalar.
