Overview
Tess Greymane’s worgen trial was a private and royal matter concerning whether the heir of Gilneas needed to take the worgen curse in order to represent her people. She approached Jarcey because he was a Gilnean noble, a proven champion of Gilneas, and a hunter with long experience of both controlled and feral worgen.
Jarcey refused to treat the choice casually. He persuaded Redyn to reveal his concealed worgen condition privately to Tess, Genn, Mia, and any necessary members of the royal household so that Tess could hear from someone who had taken the curse willingly under battlefield pressure.
Tess ultimately decided that she did not need to become worgen to represent or rule Gilneas. The royal family continued to protect Redyn’s secret.
