Cult of Khaine

The Cult of Khaine occupies a feared place in Druchii religious life. Sacrifice and slaughter are acts through which its devotees worship, seek divine favour, and experience the presence of their god.

Witch Elves and Disciples of Khaine share that dedication while expressing it through different practices. Saerina finds religious ecstasy in killing; Praedys approaches worship through deliberate ritual, sacred knowledge, and the exercise of supernatural power.

Their common faith can sustain both solidarity and bitter disagreement. Questions of divine will, favour, sacrifice, and devotion matter enough to provoke vicious conflict, even between two worshippers who accept the legitimacy of one another’s faith.

Both receive orders to support Caldyris’s mission in Ulthuan. Obedience to Khaine and legitimate religious authority remains paramount, above any attachment they may have to one another.

Notes

Their personal theological differences do not establish a formal schism. The complete institutional hierarchy of the Disciples and the authorities assigning Praedys and Saerina remain unspecified.
