Grimmenhagen

Overview

Grimmenhagen is a settlement in Nordland threatened by the Chaos invasion. Viktor Riese, a Knight of the Blazing Sun, commands its defense within the Order of the Griffon’s operations.

The Defense of Grimmenhagen

Cairden reaches the settlement several weeks before the immediate crisis. Finding the local Sigmarite community inadequately served by dedicated pastoral leadership, he stays to minister to it, initially intending his visit to be temporary. The attack draws his religious and martial duties together.

Jarcey and Drasol arrive from Altdorf under formal assignments: Jarcey is sent to reinforce Riese, while the Bright Order dispatches Drasol to contribute his magical expertise. Elias Redyn is already investigating suspected heretics in the surrounding region.

Their duties bring them into cooperation as the defense develops. Cairden and Redyn join the Griffon’s operations voluntarily while retaining the wider responsibilities of their respective religious vocations.

Notes

The gap in dedicated Sigmarite pastoral leadership is a project-specific local-history decision. Other clergy and Nordland’s religious diversity remain compatible with it. No permanent quartet, specific commander for all four, or later shared operation sequence is established.
