Karak Kadrin, the Slayer Keep, houses the great Shrine of Grimnir where Yurric solemnized his Slayer Oath. Aibhinger obtained leave to accompany him on the pilgrimage.

Afterward, Yurric increasingly returned between expeditions for the company of other Slayers and to aid the hold’s defense. It became a recurring refuge and base of operations. Aibhinger’s invitation to join the reinforcements for Ekrund reached him there.
