Ekrund stands in the Dragonback Mountains, an ancestral Dwarf homeland whose ancient loss scattered its people. Clan Helhein participated in its founding and settlement; its survivors later migrated to Karak Eight Peaks.

Reclamation and Defense

Varell joined the reclamation as a venerable Runepriest recovering his clan’s original homeland. Orenne joined as a qualified Engineer seeking a substantial technical challenge and the opportunity to build an enduring professional legacy. Both stayed through the settlement’s reconstruction and are already resident when the renewed Greenskin offensive begins.

Aibhinger arrives as a reinforcement dispatched by Karak Azul. He invites Yurric from Karak Kadrin, and the longstanding friends enter the campaign together. Their cooperation takes place within the wider Dwarf war effort associated with the Oathbearers.
