Overview
Carsybe is an undead Lordaeronian warlock who entered the Pandaria campaign as a capable Horde field champion. The wound he received there became the concealed beginning of a much darker allegiance.
The Jade Forest
Carsybe arrived with the first Horde expedition, or within hours of it, and worked closely with Jabbek during the scattered and dangerous opening campaign under Nazgrim. He helped establish the Horde foothold, deal with the hozen, fight the Pearlfin and Alliance forces, search for Anduin, and confront the worsening Sha crisis around the Jade Serpent.
Sha Wound
Near the end of that campaign, Sha corruption contaminated Carsybe and removed him from active service. He did not master it. Instead, the corruption remained a latent wound and a vulnerability through which the Void could later reach him.
Hidden Allegiance
That vulnerability eventually contributes to Carsybe’s secret service to N’Zoth. N’Zoth’s defeat does not expose him. He instead turns toward Xal’atath and continues working against Azeroth from within Horde and wider Azerothian institutions, prepared to oppose lesser Void threats when preserving his cover requires it.
