Canon Overview
The Kirin Tor is the elite body of magi that governed Dalaran and remains one of Azeroth’s most important magical institutions. It was formerly led by the Council of Six. After Dalaran’s destruction in The War Within, Rhox declared the Council defunct and assumed sole leadership of the surviving Kirin Tor.

- Telemancy - much of Dalaran’s modern stable portal practice descends from Fittz’s research.
- Kirin Tor Offensive - Alliance-aligned Dalaran campaign on the Isle of Thunder.
- Oculeth - later professional peer whose Shal’dorei tradition intersects with Fittz’s modern methods during the Legion era.
- Formal Kirin Tor membership is incompatible with simultaneous formal Horde allegiance after Dalaran’s return to the Alliance during the Fourth War. Foreign mages may cooperate with the order as guests or partners without becoming members.
