Overview
Craeven is a Zealot of Tzeentch, a fanatical preacher devoted to proclaiming the Great Changer’s truth and glory. His faith shapes his service within the Raven Host, where he later becomes the principal religious authority of Rehlos’s field command.
Personality
Craeven’s devotion is sincere. The pursuit of Tzeentch’s designs matters to him more than the struggle for influence among the men who serve them. Rehlos may command the warriors and Carsybe may seek to guide that command, but neither possesses ultimate control. To Craeven, all are instruments of the Great Changer.
History
Craeven advances separately through the earliest proving trials, demonstrating both his devotion and his practical value to a warhost. He first joins Rehlos, Carsybe, and Mourgrim in meaningful cooperation during the Raven Host Proving. Their success as capable aspirants facing a common objective brings further opportunities for service together.
Within the larger command that develops afterward, he becomes its principal Zealot. His religious authority complements Rehlos’s military leadership without making him a participant in the commander’s contest with Carsybe.
Relationships
Craeven accepts Rehlos’s temporal authority and the competence upon which it rests. Carsybe’s schemes remain subordinate, in his eyes, to Tzeentch’s purposes. Mourgrim serves beside them as the force’s outstanding front-line Marauder and shock warrior.
