Raven Host

The Raven Host is the northern Chaos army united by Tchar’zanek for the invasion of The Empire. Tzeentch dominates its leadership and purpose, though its ranks draw upon the wider forces and cultures of the north.

The Proving

The host’s trials bring Rehlos, Carsybe, Mourgrim, and Craeven into cooperation. Four capable aspirants initially joined by circumstance, they later become the best-known figures within a larger field command.

Rehlos earns military authority through his performance in the campaign. Carsybe becomes his principal Magus and sorcerous adviser, Craeven its chief Zealot and religious authority, and Mourgrim its outstanding front-line Marauder. Other warriors, cultists, auxiliaries, and assigned troops fight beneath and beside them. Their first shared success is recorded in the Raven Host Proving.
