Darkfallen

Overview

Darkfallen are corporeal undead whose souls have been joined back to bodies through external power and whose condition is more specialized than ordinary raised undeath. Darkfallen is a broad undead classification rather than an elven ancestry: death knights of any mortal people can be Darkfallen, as can dark rangers, the vampiric San’layn, and exceptional bodies such as Nathanos Blightcaller’s improved undead form.

Some darkfallen need a more specific subtype, such as Death Knight, Dark Ranger, or San’layn.

Usage

Use this for specialized corporeal undead whose identity is not well served by the broad Risen category. Keep faction identity, such as Forsaken or Scourge, in affiliations rather than in the undead type.
