Frazzlecraz Motherlode

Overview

The Frazzlecraz Motherlode was a Bilgewater goblin oil mine in the Southern Barrens, west of Bael Modan. It was not responsible for the destruction of Bael’dun Keep, though General Twinbraid’s retaliation wrongly treated the Bilgewater operation as culpable. The mine was nevertheless a legitimate Horde industrial target. Its destruction was a wartime reprisal whose suspected Bael’dun connection explained the target’s immediate selection and overwhelming treatment, rather than the basic decision to strike an enemy installation.

Known Connections

• Cogblast - held the mine entrance with rifle, traps, and sentry turret during Twinbraid’s raid.
• Tinks - infiltrated the mine and placed demolition charges alongside Corvo’s bomblings.
• Gellix - had escaped Bael’dun Keep before the retaliation and was not at the mine.
