Overview

Gellix Scrapshot is a Bilgewater goblin hunter from Kezan and a Horde-aligned field operator. His work is practical, mobile, and tied to the dangerous terrain of a campaign rather than to a formal command of his own.

Before the Cataclysm, Kezan remained Gellix’s home even as he spent long stretches on jobs, expeditions, and adventures elsewhere. He would leave for opportunity or recurring Horde-associated work, then return home before the next venture. He was never a long-established Kajaro Trading Company careerist.

By the late pre-Cataclysm years, Gellix had grown tired of personally chasing every short-term opportunity. While back on Kezan, a Kajaro representative recruited him with the promise of steadier, more scalable work. He joined only shortly before the catastrophe and performed well enough to receive the fresh promotion associated with the opening of the goblin exodus. The destruction of Kezan and the flight through the Lost Isles ended that attempted corporate turn almost as soon as it began, before the Bilgewater Cartel entered the Horde.

Mirage Raceway

During the Classic-era racing at Mirage Raceway, Gellix backed the goblin team while Tinks threw himself behind the gnomes. Their rivalry became intense and personal rather than a genial matter of professional competition. They actively dislike one another, though the event that turned ordinary gnome-and-goblin competition into a genuine grievance remains unsettled.

Their paths keep crossing afterward in goblin towns, neutral trade hubs, commercial settlements, and major campaigns. Neither man is hunting the other down; Tinks follows adventure, rogue contacts, engineering, and wider-world trouble, while Gellix follows contracts, commerce, Horde work, and opportunity. To bystanders the recurrence can be amusing. To them it is usually not.

Krasarang

Gellix came to Krasarang with Agoro and served as one of the commander’s key specialists during the Horde battlefield campaign. The Dominance Offensive gave him the kind of work at which he is most useful: scouting, field support, and keeping pace with a fast-moving military situation.

Pandaria

He remained active through the Pandaria campaign without receiving one of Wrathion’s eight Celestial Artifacts. His absence from that small circle does not diminish his importance to Agoro’s operations.

Later Campaigns

Gellix remains active through the Siege of Orgrimmar, the goblin heritage campaign, and the later struggle for Undermine during The War Within. Those campaigns keep drawing him back toward the commercial and political world in which he is most at home.
